About us Our Team Job Postings Candidates

Interviewing skills are learned.

The professionals at Kunin Associates ensure that our candidates receive a one-on-one interview preparation to discuss the intangibles of the hiring company.

We are in the business of making the perfect employee/employer match. Remember, you want to get an offer and then decide if it is something you are interested in. You want to be the decision maker and Kunin Associates can put you in that position.

Below are some of the many points we use to prepare our candidates for interviews...

Be familiar with the company with whom you are interviewing.
Do research on their industry, revenue, number of employees, etc.
If a public company, read the annual report and show genuine interest in the company if it seems right for you.

Don't be afraid to ask questions!
At the end of the interview it is always good to have some sincere, generic question(s) that you can ask. Interviewers take your asking questions as a sign of interest.

Be flexible in what you are willing to do in the position you are applying for.

Don't discuss salary on the first interview.

Always be dressed professionally for an interview. Wear a suit (preferably navy blue, black, or gray). It is always better to be as conservative as possible.

Ask what the company or manager is looking for in the person they will be hiring, what is important to them aside from the technical skills necessary, and what kind of person has been successful in the company or department.

Always send a written follow-up thank you letter or card (not e-mail) to the person or people you interview with.
